Facade towards street
Levanger is a town located about an hour drive north of Trondheim. The area is characterized by high quality agricultural land and several local food specialites. The project is a gastronomic hub for local food producers in Levanger and the surrounding municipalities, serving as both a market and a food court. Through an open kitchen, the customers are welcomed to study how the products can be processed.
The second floor is an apartment for a family with five children. The building is originally from 1897, with an extension from the 1980s. There is a beautiful contrast between the historical and modern, which is exaggerated through the project.

The project was part of the transformation studio course at NTNU, fourth semester.
