Hello,
My name is Kristine, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Architecture. After completing three years of study at NTNU in Trondheim and spending a year as an intern at A-lab Architects in Oslo, I am now moving to Japan to continue my studies at Kyoto University. I will be part of the Laboratory of Professor Yosuke Komiyama, doing research on my special fields of interest - timber construction and computational design.
The built environment of the future must be part of the solution solving our big challenges in climate, use of resources, social sustainability and ecology. I believe innovative architecture is created through the combination of science, design, competence and tradition.
Apart from architecture, I spend my time mostly outdoors either skiing, running, cycling, or swimming. Exploring new places and meeting new people gives me a lot of inspiration in my personal life as well as in my architectural work.
